This coating on the shaft ensures smooth operation as well as a stunning appearance. Dual Piston MTB Rear Shock Engineered for performance, this rear shock is kitted out with a dual piston valve design. This means you'll benefit from its dedicated compression and rebound pistons, which provide a firm lockout without compromising bump compliance, ride control or efficiency. One final highlight is it's also equipped with a DPS damper with three positions of adjustment. This makes it ideal for riders who want a rear shock that matches their riding style. DPS (Dual Piston System): FLOAT shocks with our Dual Piston System (DPS) feature three on-the-fly settings Open, Medium, and Firm to allow riders to adapt to a wide variety of terrain. The valve design provides full lockout without compromising bump compliance, ride control, and efficiency. Factory Series shocks feature an additional 3 clicks of low-speed compression adjustability in the Open mode. EVOL: EXTRA VOLUME: Fox Extra Volume (EVOL) air sleeve significantly reduces the force to initiate travel, providing added sensitivity and better small bump compliance. The progressiveness of the spring curve can be adjusted via air volume spacers, allowing riders to fine-tune the feel of the air spring.
